Technical Facilitator Centre for Microfinance and Livelihood (CML) An Initiative of Tata Trusts

Centre for Microfinance & Livelihood (CML) is an Associate Organisation of Tata Trusts and it imbibes the larger vision, values and goals of the Trusts. In education sector, CML is working for the betterment of Govt. Schools in Goalpara, Bongaigaon, Baksa, Nalbari & Kamrup districts. Our work areas involve reduction and prevention of dropouts in elementary schools and introduction of technology in teaching learning process in secondary schools.

CML-TATA TRUSTS is currently looking for suitable candidates to be engaged in its flagship project, Technology Based School Intervention (TBSI), being implemented in Baksa, Bongaigaon and Kamrup districts in Assam. It is a project with key focus on introducing technology in the teaching learning process in secondary schools and improving learning levels by using specific technology modules.

The position of Technical Facilitator (TF) will bear the responsibility of planning and Implementing all project activities at school level within the stipulated time period in the assigned schools. She/he will be supporting the Cluster Coordinator in developing a good rapport with government officials, Head Teachers and Teachers.. She/he will be responsible to ensure timely deliverables and outreach of the project specifically the training of Teachers, developing lesson plans, students projects, completion of subject wise technology modules . This position will be reporting to the Cluster Coordinator concerned.

Compensation: INR 16,000 PM.


Key Responsibility:
•Proper Use of the Computer Laboratory in school : The TF will have to train the students in using the computer to work in their learning projects in using different technology modules for development of their learning levels in different subjects.
•Regular Support : The TF will be assigned number of schools ( ideally 5) for providing handholding support to the children. She/he will have to provide support in developing learning projects, conduct assessment for the targeted group of children and providing support based on the assessment.
•Documentation & Reporting : The TF will be responsible for conducting regular assessments, maintaining the records of attendance and achievements and reporting as per prescribed format.

•Sensitive towards the needs and developments of children and capable of maintaining classroom situation in a child friendly atmosphere.

Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline from a Govt. recognized Institutions/University with diploma/degree in computer application. Candidates having professional degrees & diplomas in Education viz. D.El.Ed, B Ed will have an added advantage.

Experience:
•Preference will be given to the candidates having experiences in Education Project activities involving IT.
