Notification Details
1. State IEC Specialist
No. of Post: 1
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Mass Communication, or equivalent degree from a recognized university/ institution OR
- Master’s degree in Sociology/ Social Work/Rural Development/Extension studies with a Bachelors/Diploma in Mass communication or equivalent degree from a recognized university/ institution.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field. Candidates with prior experience in Govt. sector in similar role will be preferred.
Computer skills: Diploma/Certificate of computer Application with minimum 6 months duration.
Age: Minimum 30 years and maximum 45 years of age as on 01-01-2025.
Other Eligibility:
- Knowledge and excellent command in local Language (Assamese along with Hindi/English) is desirable. Person from vernacular medium would be preferred.
- Proven track record of successful social media campaigns and community awareness campaigns.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices.
Remuneration: Rs. 60,000/- per Month (Inclusive of all incentives and perks).
2. Technical Officer – Social Media

Educational Qualification:
- Degree in Mass Communication/Marketing or related fields from a recognized university/Institute OR
- Degree/Diploma in graphic designing from a recognized university/Institute
Experience and essential Qualifications/Skills:
- Must have minimum 3-4 years’ experience in graphic/desktop designing/social media management from reputed organization
- Proven track record of developing compelling designs
- Excellent command over Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Coral Draw, etc.
- Strong understanding of various design best practices
- Knowledge and excellent command in local Language (Assamese along with Hindi/English) is desirable. Person from vernacular medium would be preferred
Age: Minimum 25 years and maximum 40 years as on 01-01-2025.
Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per Month (Inclusive of all incentives and perks).
3. Videographer cum Editor

Educational Qualification:
- Degree in communication/ marketing or related fields from a recognized university/ Institute.
OR
- b) Degree/ Diploma in Film-Making/ Media Studies and Video Editing from a recognized university/ Institute.
Essential Qualifications/Skills:
- Must have 3-4 Years experience in Audio & Video Production
- Proven track record of developing compelling video production and editing
- Excellent command over Video Production equipments like HD Cameras, Lighting, Drones Editing machines etc
- Excellent command over editing softwares like FCP, Davinci, Adobe Premier etc
- Strong understanding of various Audio-Visual best practices
Age: Minimum 25 years and maximum 40 years as on 01-01-2025
Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per Month (Inclusive of all incentives and perks).
Other Criteria
Duration of the Contract: The contract period is initially for a period of 11 months. Further extension will be based on the performance appraisal of the concerned person and project requirement.
Selection Criteria: Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for interview as well the list will be uploaded in the official website. They should bring original as well as photocopies of the documents at the time of interview. Final result shall be uploaded in the website: https://phesanitation.assam.gov.in/ and will be informed via email. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
