Place of Work: Jharkhand About Child in Need Institute-CINI Child In Need Institute (CINI) is a national level not-for-profit Organization, founded in 1974, has been working with some of the most deprived and marginalized communities in the state of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha and Assam. The organization is guided by its mission to ensure that children and adolescents achieve their rights to health, nutrition, education, protection and participation by making duty bearers and communities responsive to their wellbeing. CINI is operational in Jharkhand since 2000. The organization has state-wide reach with intensive presence in some of the most hard-to-reach areas, tribal dominated blocks and urban pockets of districts like Ranchi, Khunti, Gumla, Simdega, Dumka, West Singhbhum etc. Organization is extending its technical support to some of the key government departments like Department of Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, Department of Women, Child Development & Social Security, Department of School Education & Literacy etc. We work with like-minded Civil Society Organizations and network to synergize joint efforts. The organization has developed a convergence model known as “Child Friendly Community” (CFC) which is “CINI Method” to reach vulnerable children, adolescents and women, access Nutrition, Health, Education and Protection services from govt. functionaries. Project Description Adolescents contribute nearly 1/5th of the population in India. This population will be responsible for making India stronger in the coming decades to come. Taking cognizance of the fact, in the past decade, GOI has initiated many health programmes aiming for better health outcomes of the adolescents. Alongwith, innovative ways are being incubated to reach the last mile among the adolescents. Through this intervention, CINI wishes to develop digital content of the existing adolescent modules related to health and protections issues which will be easy to internalize among the adolescent, can be disseminated in the online platforms and will be self-driven. Scope of Work CINI is looking for companies/freelancers with previous experience in animation and video production to produce 15 number of short 2-3 min animation video (not infographics) about “Adolescent Empowerment- LSE, Nutrition, SRH etc” The company/freelance will visit CINI Jharkhand Office for requirement generation and finalization of the script. The video duration will be 2-3 minute. The company/freelance will develop storyboard, create characters, and backgrounds to visualize the provided script under the supervision of CINI Team. The company/freelance will record voice-over in Hindi with English subtitles. The duration of this project is 60 days from the date of contract. Video outcome should be in 4K and other versions in HD with some VFX and must have professional colour correction and video mastering. Unlimited reviews and amendments are required in each step of this project. At least 3 years of experience working in assignments in the animation sector. Created more than 10 videos for NGO’s/INGO’s in India or worldwide. Video samples showing the competence in the field. Excellent technical capacities and access to state of art animation and filming equipment to ensure smooth and high-quality production.
