Rashtriya Indian Military College 

The Rashtriya Indian Military College is a military school for boys and girls situated in Doon Valley, Dehradun in India. The RIMC is a feeder institution for the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and subsequently the Indian Armed Forces.

Name of the College : Rashtriya Indian Military CollegeEntrance Exam Details :The RIMC Entrance Examination for admission of Boys and Girls to Class Vlll for the Jan 2023 term will be held at the specified centers within the country on 04 Jun 2022 (Saturday). The candidates will be examined in the following subjects: – 

Eligibility Criterion for RIMC Admission

Educational Qualification: The candidate should either be studying in Class VII or passed Class VII from any recognised school at the time of admission to the RIMC, i.e. on 01 Jan 2023. 
Age Limit: Boys and Girls both are eligible to apply for admission to the RIMC, Dehradun. The candidate should be in the age bracket of 11 ½  to 13 years as on 01 Jan 2023, i.e., they should not be born earlier than 02 Jan 2010 and not later than 01 Jul 2011. The applicants should be informed that no application for change in the date of birth, from that originally given by them would be entertained later by the college authorities. 
Fee: The annual fees Rs.1,07,500/– for General Candidates and Rs. 93900/- for SC/ST Candidates per year, It may be revised periodically. At the time of entry, a Security Deposit of Rs. 30,000/- is to be made (incl in annual fee). This is refunded when the cadets graduate from the college. 

Written Examination: The examination shall be conducted on 04 Jun 2022 (Saturday) as per the following schedule:-

Viva-Voce: Interview be held for only those candidates who qualify in the Entrance examination. 
Medical Examination: The candidates finally selected after the Viva-Voce a medical examination at Military Hospitals and those candidates found medically fit will be considered for selection admission to the RMC. 
Future Scope : After completing tip course almost 80% Cadets are for National Defence Academy (NDA) or other organization related to Defence 
Examination Centre : Guwahati (it will be mentioned in Admit Card) Scholarships : 
The Govt. of Assam provides scholarship to the domicile students of Assam studying in RIMC,Dehradun @ Rs. 50,000.00 p.a. as per the norms.

1. Original filled up form (2 copies). 
2. Birth Certificate (2 copies).
3. Domicile Certificates (2 copies).
4. Certificate of the school authority where studying now 
5. Aadhaar Card (2 copies). 
6. Passport photo (5 copies , 2 for Forms, for School Certificate, 2 additional). 
7. Postal Envelop with filled up communication address and postal stamp of Rs. 42/- 
8. SC/ST Certificate
