In line with the emerging needs of our organization, we now seek to fill in the following positions.Position: Project Manager Job Location: Guwahati (with frequent travel to project locations) Number of Vacancy: 1 Job Type: Full Time, Fixed Term ContractDuration: April 2023 to December 2023 (extendable)Project Description:Aide et Action through its Guwahati Regional Office is implementing the “Enterprise Promotion for Sustainable Development”. The project aims to setup 1000 sustainable Micro Enterprises over the project duration by developing the capacities of 4800 youth and 6000 existing SHG members through need-based training and post-training credit-linkage and marketing support. The project will be implemented in the state of Assam (Dibrugarh and Biswanath districts) and in Meghalaya (Ribhoi and East Khasi Hills districts).Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall management of the project, which includes but not limited to timely implementation of project activities.Conduct monitoring and evaluation of project components.Lead processes of project process documentation, preparation of monitoring tools.Ensure implementation and supervision of monitoring system and facilitate use of information at all levels.Resource Mobilisation & Networking for convergence and collaboration with government and non-government programsMaintain productive and synergistic relationships with internal and external project stakeholders, NGOs/CBOs/Govt. departments.Preparation and submission of reports to AEA Regional Office and donors.Qualification and Experience:Post graduate in rural management/business management/social sciences or other relevant fieldMinimum 7 years of experience of project cycle management and handling large- volume projects and big teams, preferably in North-east India.Familiar with enterprise development, rural management, skill training andpromotion of sustainable livelihoods, women’s socio-economic empowerment programs.Person should be familiar with the issues pertaining to livelihood and gender inNorth-east India.Person having experience of working with bilateral, international organizations, and government agencies will be given preference.Desired Competencies:Knowledge and domain expertiseLeadership and team management, including the capacity to set and manage accountability of self and others.Excellent communication skills and effectively articulate (verbal and written) and presents ideas/ concepts to a variety of internal and external audiences with clarity and confidence; Demonstrates strong listening skillsProblem-solving and solution-driven mindsetMulti-tasking abilities and ability to work under pressure, adherence to deadlines and assure quality output.Compensation: Monthly Gross compensation of INR 48000 – INR 52000.
