 Apply by: 14 Dec 2022Hiring of Project Field Officers under SETU project- FHI360/India/ SPC Management Background: To ensure nation-wide availability of Technical Assistance (TA) on (i) implementing NACP and (ii) building capacity on pandemic preparedness systems that are resilient, responsive, and enduring to sustain epidemic control of HIV, NACO is currently exploring to set up a regional/cluster TSU model to cover all 28 states and 8 union territories. NACO has requested PEPFAR program in India (USAID/India and CDC/India) to assess the existing TSU structure and pilot the implementation of a new regional/cluster model across India. The Global Fund for AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) technical assistance (TA) funding from USAID under EpiC funding mechanism will support the assessment of existing TSU models and designing as well as implementing the revised regional model in all states except the North-eastern cluster which will be supported by Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC)/Enhancing Global Health Security project. Under the revision, FHI 360/India has been selected and FHI360 has retained SPC Management as the HR management agency to recruit and manage professionals for Strategic Expertise Technical Unit (SETU). Jharkhand 1 Total Number of Vacancies 10 Period of Consultancy: Till 30th April 2023 ( for all positions except Delhi, where it will be for a Short-term consultancy of 3 months which may be extended if required) Job Responsibilities: The Project Field Officers (PFO) will mainly be responsible for the monitoring & supervision of the TIs/other prevention facilities of the allocated districts and will be based at the district. Desired qualification and experience • Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Management, or related field. • Should have minimum work experience of 5 years in development sector with minimum one year of HIV/AIDS preferably in supervisory capacity and have experience of design and implementation of Targeted Interventions with core and bridge populations.
