1. Head of Maintenance
No. of posts: 1
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering in Chemical/ Mechanical/Electrical/C&I / Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.
Experience: Minimum 15 years’ post-qualification experience in Erection/ Commissioning/Maintenance in Methanol/Urea/Ammonia/ Hydrogenation/Refinery/Fuel/ Fertilizer/Petrochemical/or any other Chemical process industry.
Upper Age Limit: 47 Years
Remunerations: Monthly Consolidated Amount Rs. 215000/-. Additionally, HRA/Family Accommodation and Medical facility for self, spouse, two children & dependent parents as per the rule.
2. Shift Charge Engineers
No. of posts: 2
Educational Qualification: Degree in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.
Experience: Minimum 12 years’ post-qualification experience in Commissioning/Operation of Methanol/ Urea/Ammonia/ Hydrogenation/Refinery/Fuel/ Fertilizer/Petrochemical/any other Chemical/ Process industry including Control/Operating Desk operation.
Upper Age Limit: 44 Years
Remunerations: Monthly Consolidated Amount Rs. 190000/-. Additionally, HRA/Family Accommodation and Medical facility for self, spouse, two children & dependent parents as per the rule.
3. Executive (General Shift Support & Safety)
No. of posts: 1
Educational Qualification: Degree in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institute with Diploma in Industrial safety from RLI/CLI OR Diploma/PG Diploma/PG Degree in Industrial Safety/Fire & Safety from Institution recognized under the Factory Act/Rules OR Degree in Engineering in Industrial Safety/Fire & Safety with at least 60% marks from a University/ Institution recognized under the Factories Act/rules.
Experience: Minimum 7 years’ post qualification experience in Commissioning/ Operation/Maintenance/Safety in Methanol /Urea / Ammonia /Hydrogenation /Refinery /Fuel /Fertilizer /Petrochemical/ or any other Chemical/Process industry
Upper Age Limit: 35 Years
Remunerations: Monthly Consolidated Amount Rs. 125000/-. Additionally, HRA/Family Accommodation and Medical facility for self, spouse, two children & dependent parents as per the rule.
4. Executive (Control Room Operations)

Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks for a recognized University/Institution
Experience: Minimum 03 years’ post-qualification experience in Commissioning/Operation in Methanol/ Urea/Ammonia/ Hydrogenation/Refinery/Fuel / Fertilizer/Petrochemical/any other Chemical/ Process industry including Control/Operating Desk operation.

Remunerations: Monthly Consolidated Amount Rs. 100000/-. Additionally, HRA/Family Accommodation and Medical facility for self, spouse, two children & dependent parents as per the rule.
5. Executive (Process Engineering- Chemical / Methanol)
No. of posts: 1
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
Experience: Minimum 03 years post-qualification experience in Process Engineering/Commissioning & Operation of Methanol/Urea/Ammonia/Hydrogenation/ Refinery/Fuel/Fertilizer/Petrochemical/ any other Chemical/Process industries.
Upper Age Limit: 30 Years
Remunerations: Monthly Consolidated Amount Rs. 100000/-. Additionally, HRA/Family Accommodation and Medical facility for self, spouse, two children & dependent parents as per the rule.
Application Fee
Candidate belonging to the General/EWS/OBC category is required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 300/-.
The SCIST/PwBD/XSM category & female candidates need not pay the application fee.
Payment in offline mode: State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the application fee, in a specially opened account (AIC No. 30987919993) at CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996), on behalf of NTPC. The candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the “pay-in-slip” which is available on the application portal.
Payment in online mode: Candidates also have the Option to pay the fees online (through Net banking / Debit Card I Credit Card). The online payment option will be available in the application form.
