Location: Guwahati, AssamAbout Us: Qmark International Certifications Private Limited is a recognized Regional Council accredited under the National Centre for Organic and Natural Farming (NCONF) in India. Our mission is to promote sustainable agriculture and organic farming practices through the implementation of the Participatory Guarantee System (PGS-India Certification).Qmark is established to help and facilitate the farming & trading communities to make them compatible with the Organic farming standards. The promoters of the Organization are from Agriculture background and carrying an experience of more than 15 years in Organic industries.2. Position: Manager3. Reporting to: Assistant General Manager4. Job Description: Managers are responsible for achieving the goals and objectives of the organisation through managing its resources (human, financial, and operational). Managerial duties include, but are not limited to leading the team, setting objectives, analyzing performance, making decisions, and timely review of the project activities. Managers may be deputed to any departments as per the need and past performance of an individual to take up desired tasks.5. Key Responsibilities:5.1. Monitoring: Oversee the entire Organic certification process, including day-to-day coordination and monitoring of the projects.5.2. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders, Line departments, funding agencies to facilitate the projects and provide guidance on best practices.5.3. Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all certification-related activities, including report writing, proceedings of review meetings & action taken reports.5.4. Training: Organize and conduct training sessions for farmers and stakeholders on organic farming practices and certification requirements including trainings to down the line staff.5.5. Business Development: Identification of opportunities to extend business and to prepare proposals, Quotes, EoI documents, desk and field appraisal of inspection reports submitted by inspectors and put-up to higher officials or Sanctioning Committee.5.6. Project proposals: Develop proposals including budgetary provisions with respect to company objectives.5.7. Others: Responsible for timely organizing the meetings of various Ethics committees & statutory bodies. Undertake any other miscellaneous duties, (other than the functions of department he/she is posted) assigned by the management. 6. Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:6.1. Graduate/Post Graduate in Agriculture with a minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant experience of working in projects/company/organization related with Organic Certification. Freshers form North Eastern Region are encourage to apply.6.2. Good knowledge in presenting reports and database management systems with generating analytical reports from databases.6.3. Strong writing skills in English and knowledge of organic farming practices, standards, and documentation.6.4. Candidates having work experience in organic certification processes, preferably under the PGS-India Certification system & NPOP standards.6.5 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.6.6. Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team.6.7. Good command in speaking, reading and writing skills in English6.8. Qmark have a policy of reimbursing all the expanses related to field travel.
