Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of one (01) Project linked person purely on temporary basis to work in the internally funded project titled “DSTS: Deep Scene Text Spotting” in the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Unit of the Institute.

Qualifications :
Essential: (i) B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering/ equivalent or M.C.A. or M.Sc. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics or equivalent, (ii) strong programming skills in Python and/or C, (iii) knowledge of standard machine learning libraries.
Desirable: Exposure to Machine Learning (ML) algorithms/ Image Processing (iP) algorithms.
Salary : Rs. 27000/- per month
Age Limit : Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 May 2023 with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/differently abled candidates. Age relaxation may be given to the outstanding candidates or candidates with relevant experience
