Indian Statistical Institute is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Project Linked Persons purely on temporary basis to work for the following research projects titled (i) “Neural Atkinson Model for Video Captioning” and (ii) “Digital Restoration and Reconstruction of Indian Heritage Artefacts with focus on Murals, Manuscripts and Sculptures using Big Data Technology” in the Electronics & Communication Sciences Unit.

Qualification :
Essential : ME /MTech in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related discipline with a good academic record, MSc in Statistics / Mathematics / Computer Science, final year semester students can also apply. Strong knowledge in Python programming is essential
Desirable : At least one year experience to work in Image Processing / Computer Vision / Machine Learning related subjects.
Salary : Rs. 28000/- to Rs. 35000/- per month depending on qualification and experience of selected candidate
Age Limit : Should not exceed 35 years as on 1 September 2022 with usual relaxation for SC / ST / Women and differently abled candidates.
