Indian Navy SSR Recruitment 2022
Indian Navy has released an official notification regarding the recruitment of SSR August 2022 Batch. As per the notification, the online application will be started from 29th March 2022 and all the eligible candidates will be able to submit their online applications on the official portal of Indian Navy. Through this notification, Indian Navy has invited applications for approximately 2000 posts of Senior Secondary Recruit Sailors. Candidates who are eligible for the recruitment and willing to serve the country are able to submit the application.

Batch Name: August 2022
Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary or 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science from recognized board will be eligible for this recruitment.
Age Limit: Candidates who are born between 1st August 2002 to 31st July 2005 (both dates inclusive) are eligible for this Indian Navy recruitment.
Martial Status: Only male unmarried candidates are eligible for this recruitment of Indian Navy

Candidates who have fulfilled the required criteria can submit their applications on the official portal of the Indian Navy. Candidates are required to submit all the required details including some scanned copy of their testimonials along with the application form. - If you are not already registered then complete your registration process.
- Now, login with your registered email address and password.
- Click on Current Opportunities.
- Click on Apply button.
- Fill the form completely. Before clicking on the submit button make sure that all the details are correct and all the required documents are uploaded.
- The photograph to be uploaded should be of good quality with blue background. Size of the photograph should be between 60-100 KB.
- Online applications for eligibility will be further investigated and can be rejected if they are not found eligible in any respect.

Selection Criteria of SSR Recruitment
Indian Navy will conduct two types of examination for this recruitment, which is Written Examination and Physical Fitness Test. Candidates will be selected for written examination and PFT on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination (i.e. 12th examination). The cut off marks may vary from state to state as per the vacancies allotted to those states.
1. Written Examination
The details of the written examination to be conducted to select the eligible candidates for this recruitment will be as follows.
Medium of Exam: The question paper will be in two languages Hindi and English.
Type of Question: The questions will be of objective type.
Syllabus: The question paper will have four sections i.e. English, Science & Mathematics and General Knowledge. All questions will be 12th level questions. Click here for Syllabus and click here for Sample Question Paper.
Duration of Exam: The duration of the exam will be of 60 minutes.
Total Marks: The exam will be conducted for 100 marks.
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for selection and without qualifying PFT candidates will not be able to participate in the further process. The details of PFT will be as follows.
Running: Candidates have to complete 1.6 Km race within 7 minutes.
Uthak Baithak and Push-ups: Candidates will also have to complete 20 squats (Uthak Baithak) and 10 push-ups.
Note: The written examination and physical fitness test will be conducted on the same day.
Merit List of SSR Recruitment
The merit list of Indian Navy SSR Recruitment will be prepared on the basis of performance in the written examination subject to qualifying the physical fitness test. Around 2500 candidates based on state wise merit will be issued call up letter for Enrollment Medical Examination at INS Chilka.
