B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / relevant branch and M.E. / M. Tech or Integrated M. Tech, in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
Desirable: Ph D in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / relevant branch

The Academic score as specified under UGC Regulations, 2018, in Appendix 11 (Table 3A) for Universities, shall be considered for short-listing of the candidates for interview only, and the selections shall he based only on the performance in the interview.
With regard to the minimum requirement of educational qualification, screening, etc., relevant regulation of UGC / AICTE / NCTE will be applicable.
Job/Position Description-
Tezpur University is looking for Guest Faculties for the Spring Semester 2022
The selected candidates may also be engaged for subsequent semester(s), if required.
Emoluments: Appointed Guest Faculties will be paid Rs.1,500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/- per month. No other allowances will be admissible.

How to Apply-
Interested candidates are to register their names along with detailed biodata/CV as given in Annexure-1 along with the filled-in ANNEXURE-11 (attached herewith) b e-mail to the Head of the concerned Department as stated above with the subject line “APPLICATION FOR GUEST FACULTY against Advt. 1No. 04 / 2021”.
Candidates who do not register his / her name by the aforesaid time & date shall not be interviewed. Eligible candidates so registered shall appear before the concerned Selection Committee through GOGGLE MEET as per the above schedule. The link for the GOOGLE MEET shall be forwarded to the short-listed candidates before the interview.
The selected Guest Faculties would be required to be present in the campus to take the classes physically. Further, classes may be held through ONLINE MODE at any point of time due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Hence, the interested candidates must have the expertise and experience for the same besides having the required facilities at their end. Even when the classes are held ONLINE, the presence of the Guest Faculties in the campus is mandatory.

If a large number of candidates register for the interview by the last date as stated above, then candidates short-listed on the basis of academic qualifications and experience (as per Annexure-II) may be called for the interview through e-mail and a notice for such applicants may also be uploaded in the University website before the scheduled date of interview.
