Forest Department Assam Recruitment Details
1. Forester Grade I
No of posts: 264 Posts [UR: 140, OBC/ MOBC: 42, SC: 19, STP: 35, STH: 28]
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
2. Forest Guard
No of posts: 1226 Posts [UR: 704, OBC/ MOBC: 268, SC: 81, STP: 71, STH: 102]
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
3. AFPF Constable
No of posts: 981 Posts [UR: 595, OBC/ MOBC: 192, SC: 57, STP: 70, STH: 67]
Educational Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board.
4. Driver Constable
No of posts: 36 Posts [UR: 18, OBC/ MOBC: 10, SC: 3, STP: 3, STH: 2]
Educational Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
5. Driver
No of posts: 142 Posts [UR: 73, OBC/ MOBC: 39, SC: 8, STP: 12, STH: 10]
Educational Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
Please Note: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Age Limit:
- Forester Grade I, Forest Guard & Driver: Candidates age must be between 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1983).
- AFPF Constable & Driver Constable: Candidates age must be between 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998).
