Education Department Gangtok Recruitment Details
1. Graduate Teacher (Sanskrit)
No. of post: 01 (One)
Qualification: (i) Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Sanskrit with Nyingma Philosophy background from a recognized university. (ii) Must have a good academic record. (iii) Must have a Certificate from the Nyingma Monastery of Sikkim.
Consolidated pay: Candidate selected will be appointed on ad-hoc basis on consolidated pay of Rs. 18,000/- per month.
Age Limit: Should not have exceeded 40 years as on 30.06.2023.
2. Kyorpon
No. of post: 01 (One)
Qualification: (i) Must possess Master’s/Aacharya Degree in Buddhist/Nyingma Philosophy from a recognized university. (ii) Must have a good academic record. (iii) Must have a Certificate from the Nyingma Monastery of Sikkim.
Pay: Level of 15.
Age Limit: Should not have exceeded 40 years as on 30.06.2023.
3. Assistant Kyorpon
No. of post: 01 (One)
Qualification: (i) Must possess Master’s/Aacharya Degree in Buddhist/Nyingma Philosophy from a recognized university. (ii) Must have a good academic record. (iii) Must have a Certificate from the Nyingma Monastery of Sikkim.
Pay: Level of 14.
Age Limit: Should not have exceeded 40 years as on 30.06.2023.

Candidates fulfilling the above criteria may submit their applications in the prescribed form available at the SSTRB Office after submitting a Bank Receipt of ₹ 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) payable at the State Bank of Sikkim under the Revenue Head 0202-102-03-Edn.
How to Apply for Education Department Gangtok?
Issue and submission of Application forms with the following documents shall start from 19.07.2023 to 31.07.2023 during office hours.
a. Self-Attested copies of Marksheets and Pass Certificates of all the educational qualifications pertaining to Master’s/Aacharya Degree in Buddhist/Nyingma Philosophy from a recognized university.
b. Copy of Certificate from the Nyingma Monastery of Sikkim.
c. Attested copy of Sikkim Subject/Certificate of Identification from the Competent Authority.
d. For Unmarried Female Candidate: Unmarried Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
e. For Married Female Candidate: Marriage Certificate along with Husband’s COI/SSC.
f. Self-attested copy of valid Local Employment Card.
g. Bank receipt.
h. Two passport size photographs.
