About the Organisation: Prayas JAC Society (established in 1988), a national-level, child, youth, and women-centric community-based non-profit service delivery organization, directly accessing marginalized, vulnerable, destitute, deprived, trafficked, run-away, and missing children besides the marginalized women, youth and homeless people. it directly serves day-to-day nearly 40,000 beneficiaries carrying out intensive outreach programs in 12 States/Union Territories, namely, Delhi, Bihar, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Jharkhand, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, and Kashmir. Mostly carrying out direct interventions for the children, youth, women, homeless, and others in need of care and protection through 38 Homes/Shelters, 06 Helplines (1098) for distressed children, Women Helplines, Crisis Intervention Centres, besides other programs, concerning disaster and issues relating to education, nutrition, health services, vocational training, and life-skill, these programs in different parts of the country are being run by Prayas and connected entities.

Role: Case Worker/ Reporting Official

Job Description: Assisting and collaborating for report writing and legal case management as per the project requirements, Complying with documentation review and active correspondence to office and field activities, Routine review and analysis of laws and cases related to Child Rights Protection, to provide socio-structural support to staff and community outreach programs, Act as a proactive team-player in accomplishing project tasks, maintaining proper and legally sound interactions with the stakeholders.

Essential Requirements: 3-5 Years experience in the field of Child Rights Protection, Advanced efficiency with MS Office operations, Fluency in English communication and writing, Documentation and Report writing skills, Dedicated and Multifaceted individual with adequate organizational skills.

Desirable skills: Strong Legal Background, Open to work in office settings as well as outreach programs, Team Player, Flexible hours availability, Long term commitment to the organization

Salary/Remuneration: As per the organization’s norms, negotiable as per the experience and skill set of the candidate.
