BIDS’ Vision is to create a soceity in which people of all backgrounds enjoy equal opportunities to progress and become self reliant in the society. Major Project: Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) project is one of the major projects of the BIDS which operates in three States of Northeast, namely; Meghalay, Tripura and Assam- Barak Valley. The aim is to provide quality vocational skill training to 10,000 rural youths of Northeast India and support them in placement and self-employment through this skill training. Our Requirement: One Positions for Placement Manager and One position for Assistant Placement Manager. We are very urgently looking for a young & enthusiastic, responsible persons with 3-5 years of placement work experience professional from Northeast region (first preference) for Technical and Vocational Education and Training Project based in Shillong to place 7000 skilled youths of Northeast. Qualification and experience: 1.Minimum Graduate passed in subject 2. with minimum 3-5 years working experience in students Job placement. 3. Male Candidates from Meghalaya, Assam/Cachar, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura who have the right attitude, passion, can travel extensively is preferred. Technical Skills: i. Experience in placement of rural youths, and people management. ii. Experience in networking, building linages and collaborations with industries, recruiters and employers. iii. Strong supervisory and communication skills. iv. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines v. Leader and excellent team player vi. Ability to coordinate program activities with other departments, vii. Good communication skill in English and Local languages such as Khasi, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Tripuris is preferred. Major Responsibilities: To assist in placing of 7000 skilled youths from Meghalya, Silchar-Assam and Tripura states within Northeast and Outside northeast states. Job Contract Periods: from Sept 2023 to Dec 2025 Work Location:- Based at Shillong, Meghalaya and Silchar, Assam. However, travelling across Northeast states and outside for placement. Remuneration: from 15-20K (Negotiable for experience and competence candidate).
