| JD for Facilitator / Trainers Position: Associate Trainers Illumine is looking for Facilitators / Trainers who are inspired by the vision of bringing about change in society and nation at large and would like to become a part of such a nation-wide community. About Illumine: Illumine works on large-scale knowledge interventions that enable human change at scale. These interventions aim to embed new vision or ideals, bring about changes in thinking / mindsets that enable individuals & collectives to unleash their potential and achieve their desired outcomes, empower communities to build capacity to respond and design solutions to the challenges they are facing, etc. Illumine in the last 20 years has built change technologies, that enable institutions and collectives to make these transformations happen at speed and scale, and these have now been deployed across the largest businesses (SBI, Tata Steel, BPCL, Aditya Birla Capital.), Government (Indian railways, Delhi & UT Police, etc.) & Educational institutions (Gujarat technological University, Biju Patnaik University, IIT Delhi, 5000 CBSE schools, etc.) in India impacting more than 4 million people. About the Project: The Government of India has launched ‘Mission Karmayogi’, which is a national programme for civil services capacity building aimed at building a future ready civil service with the right attitude, skills, and knowledge, aligned to the vision of a New India. One of the initiatives under this banner is for Department of Posts, which has a vast network of 1.5 Lakhs Post Offices and 4.86 lakhs employees and Gramin Dak Sevaks who are the last mile services in rural areas. An elaborate capacity-building exercise of frontline Postal employees is being envisaged, where on one side we want to invoke the intention to serve (Seva Bhaav) and on other side, we build concrete citizen centric practices in them so that the customer interactions improve. To support Illumine in this assignment we are inviting trainers / facilitators who will do the capacity transfer to 15000 chosen Master Trainers from Posts who will in turn train 4.5 lakh employees. The cadre of trainees will be Postmaster, Postal Assistants, Postmen, Gramin Dak Sevaks etc. Your role: • As a Facilitator, you are at the forefront of these change programs, where your role is not just one of training people, but it is one of awakening people to their own inherent potential and helping them find their own answers. • You will be required to travel to some specific locations and conduct the program as per a defined schedule (the locations are mentioned at the end). Illumine will provide you with all the necessary training & support: • Core Training: On core ideas and key facilitation skills. • Program Specific Training: The training on current program, and how it needs to be delivered. • Handholding and support during the interventions. Desired Profile: The right person for this role: • has desire to help others / bring about change • has minimum 3 years’ experience in teaching / training / coaching adults [this could be in leadership skills, communication skills, project management, etc. but not vocational training] • possesses good communication skills – ability to present ideas, give instructions etc. • is fluent in English or Hindi plus one or two regional Language • should be able to use online learning platform to conduct the program (basic ability to use computers) Professional Fees • Professional fees for trainers will be in a range of Rs. 40,000 – 60,000 per month based on experience and location • Boarding and lodging shall be arranged by the organization Project Duration The project duration is 3 months. The facilitators will undergo an extensive capacity building program before the program begins, using our tools and methodologies. All the efforts put on capacity building of the facilitators will not be charged for by Illumine, nor any fees will be paid during the period.
