Centre for Microfinance & Livelihood (CML) is an Associate Organisation of Tata Trusts and it imbibes the larger vision, values and goals of the Trusts. In education sector, CML is working for the betterment of Govt. Schools in Goalpara, Bongaigaon, Baksa, Nalbari & Kamrup districts. Our work areas involve reduction and prevention of dropouts in elementary schools and introduction of technology in teaching learning process in secondary schools. CML is currently looking for three suitable candidates to be engaged in its flagship project, Assam State Initiative-Education being implemented in Bongaigaon, Goalpara, Baksa & Nalbari in Assam. It is a project with key focus on bringing dropout children of elementary level back to school and improve school functioning with an objective to prevent and reduce dropouts. Responsibility for the above position will be that of school and village level planning, implementation and monitoring of the various project components of the initiative. She/he will be responsible for social mobilization, identification of dropouts, counselling of children, organising camps, supporting Education Facilitators in providing remedial support in schools. She/he will be responsible to ensure timely deliverables and outreach of the project components. She/he will also be leading and managing the human resources during implementation of the project. This position will be reporting to the concerned Cluster Coordinator. Position:03 Designation: Associate Cluster Coordinator- Education Project Location: Goalpara, Bongaigaon & Baksa Compensation: INR 25,000-28000 based on experience. Key Responsibility: •Leadership and Team Management: The Associate Cluster Coordinator (ACC) will be responsible for managing the human resources in assigned areas. She/he will be responsible for grassroots level physical and financial plan and operation management of the project activities in an efficient and effective manner. •Implementation: The ACC will be responsible for effective implementation of the project activities, adhering to the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP). She/he will be responsible for ensuring implementation of activities as per the prescribed guidelines. She/he will be responsible for promotion and nurturing of the School managing Committees and Mother Groups of the targeted schools. •Financial Management: The ACC will be responsible for financial planning, tracking of transactions and overall management system. She/he will be responsible for ensuring judicious and effective utilization of budgets as per the project guidelines. •Monitoring and Documentation: The ACC will be responsible for monitoring and review of the project activities time to time. She/he will also be responsible for ensuring proper documentation of implementation procedures, best practices, books and records. •Reporting and Compliance: The ACC will be responsible for assisting in timely preparation and submission of various periodic reports/database including physical and financial components of the project. She/he will be responsible for regular and timely updates of information and data required as per the MIS system. Functional Competency: •Should be an efficient team player. •Ability to work under pressure with full professional discretion •Ability to plan, prioritize and deliver tasks on time to meet goal(s) •Ability to articulate and report progress and achievements. •Respectful and sensitive towards cultural, gender, ethnicity and religious diversity. •Should have functional competency in MS Word, MS Excel, PPT, mail communication and internet. Qualification: Post Graduate in Social Work, Education or in any other relevant discipline from a Govt. recognized Institution/University. Experience: • Preference will be given to the candidates having experiences in Education Projects. Language: •Fluency in written and spoken English •Fluency in spoken Assamese and/or Bodo/Garo language will be an added advantage. |
