Assam University, a central university situated in Silchar has recently announced a notification regarding Assam University B.Ed. Entrance Examination 2024 for admission into Assam University B.Ed. Course for 2024-2026 sessions. Interested and eligible candidates who want to pursue a B.Ed. courses in the Teacher’s Training Colleges/ Institutes affiliated with the university must appear and qualify in this entrance exam mandatorily.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam University B.Ed Admission
Educational Qualification: A candidate at least 50% marks in either Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/ Humanity, Bachelor in Engineering Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for the Programme.
Appeared Candidates: The Bachelor/ Master Degree Appeared Candidates may fillup the Online Application Form; subject to the condition that they must complete their degree with at least 50% marks before the declaration of Entrance Examination result.
Entrance Examination: Candidate must clear the Assam University B.Ed. Entrance Examination 2023 conducted by the University for that academic session.
How to Apply for Assam University B.Ed Admission ?
Interested and eligible candidates can submit their online application from 5th June 2024 to 20th June 2024; provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria as specified by the university.

In the ‘mandatory upload’ section, the applicant has to upload the following clearly readable documents:
- (a) Passport-size photograph of the applicant.
- (b) Scanned signature of the applicant.
- (c) Scanned copy of both sides of all original testimonials (Mark sheet/ Caste Certificate/Gap Certificate/NOC from Employer, etc.)
