Director of Technical Education, Assam has published a notification regarding Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2023 for admission into 3-years Diploma in Engineering and Technology Courses in State Government Polytechnics of Assam and Polytechnics outside Assam (against seat allotted by the Govt. of India) for the session 2023-24. Tentative date of Assam Polytechnic Admission Test 2023: 11th June or 18th June or 25th June, 2023
Time: 10 am to 12 noon (Sunday)
PAT Subjects: Mathematics & Science
Full Marks: 100
Types of Question Paper: Multiple Choice Questions
Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must pass the H.S.L.C. or its equivalent examination in single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects. Candidates also must have passed individually in both Theory and Practical examinations in Mathematics and Science.

How to Apply for Assam PAT 2023
Interested and Eligible candidates need to apply online through the link available at Director of Technical Education, Assam official portal [ ww.dte.assam.gov.in ] and click on “Online Application for PAT-2023”. The direct apply link will be available in the important link section below. The online application portal will be opened w.e.f. 10th April, 2023 to 5th May, 2023. No other mode of application will be accepted.
Application Fee: For Polytechnic Admission Test-2023 and Counselling for Admission”: An application fee of Rs. 500/- [plus bank charges as applicable] is to be paid using payment link.
Please Note: Candidates will not be permitted to take admission without Permanent Resident Certificate [PRC] /Caste Certificate / for OBC (Non Creamy Layer Certificate after clearing Polytechnic Admission Test-2023. Therefore, the candidates are requested to keep the PRC and above mentioned documents ready well in advance for admission into the State Govt. Polytechnics of Assam.
