Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Consultant (Tariff) on contractual basis.

Salary : Rs. 70,000/- per month
Qualification : Must be holder of a degree in Electrical Engineering and having 25 years of engineering experience with atleast five years at management level in large power utilities.
Experience :
(a) Experience in working in Regulatory Authority.
(b) Experience in development of Electricity Tariffs, Commercial issues and power purchase agreements etc.
(c) Experience as a Power Engineer with sufficient knowledge of Generation, Transmission and Distribution.
(d) Good knowledge of Electricity Laws is desirable.
(e) Experience as professional economist /power engineer
(f) Experience in development of Tariff in power sector utilities.
(g) Experience of Economic Analysis, modelling and Statistical techniques.
(h) Demonstrated capabilities in analytical modelling
Age Limit : Maximum 62 years as on 1st January 2022
