Details of APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2024
1. Junior Engineer (Mechanical)
No of posts: 80 Posts [UR: 44, OBC/MOBC: 25, OBC/MOBC (Tea Tribe & Adivasi Community): 1, SC: 1, STP: 5, STH: 4]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- GP: Rs. 8,700/-
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have a Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any technical institute recognized by the Government. The Diploma must be a Regular course. Diploma courses obtained through Distance Mode of Education, by whatever name called, will not be accepted.
Local Language Proficiency: Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 1 (one) official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.
Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024. Relaxation of age is SC: 5 years, ST: 5 years, OBC/ MOBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years.
