APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2023: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Guwahati has released an official advertisement notification for the recruitment of 73 Junior Engineer (Civil) vacancy under Joint cadre of Public Works Roads (PWRD) and Public Works (B&NH) Department [PW(B&NH)D]. Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) invited application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the under-mentioned posts under Assam Government. APSC JE Recruitment Details 2023

Post Name: Junior Engineer (Civil)

No. of vacancies: 73 [SC: 21, STP: 40 & STH: 12]

Educational Qualification:

(a) Candidate must have a Diploma in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering & Planning from any technical institute recognized by the Government.

(b) The Diplomas/Courses must be a Regular course. Diplomas/Courses obtained through Distance Mode of Education, by whatever name called, will not be accepted.

(c) Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 1 (one) official language of the State of Assam (i.e., Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.

Scale of pay: PB-2, Rs.14000-49000/- + Grade Pay Rs.8700/- 

Age limit for APSC AE Recruitment

The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2023.

The upper age limit is relaxable up to:-

# 5 (Five) years for SC/STP/STH candidates i.e., up to 43 years.

# 17 (Seventeen) years for Ex-Servicemen candidates i.e., up to 55 years.

The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the above-mentioned documents.

Eligibility Criteria of APSC JE Recruitment

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.

As a domicile proof of the candidate, he/she must upload a copy of the Valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate/Voter ID or his/her parents will be treated as proof of residency.

# NB: State Govt. Employees of Assam need not submit any documents regarding domicile proof, however, they will have to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective employer.

# For SC/ST/OBC/MOBC: Rs.197.20/-

# For BPL: Rs.47.20/-

# For PWBD: Rs.47.20/-

(i) To avail application fees relaxation prescribed for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/BPL/PwBD, candidates must produce certificate of the claimed category issued by a competent authority.

(ii) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.

(iii) Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fees be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

How to Apply for APSC JE Recruitment?

# Applicants are required to apply online through APSC’s recruitment website only.

# Applicants who have not registered yet, in Online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the APSC’s recruitment website apscrecruitment.in and register themselves by clicking on ‘Register Here’ link and complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process by providing basic details.

# After login, applicants need to provide One Time Registration details such as Personal Information, Educational Qualification, Work Experience, Photo (Min size 50KB & Max size 200kb and not older than 3 months) & Signature (Min size 50KB & Max size 200KB) and other required documents. Once these details are submitted, applicants will be able to download the One Time Registration details. Then applicants can click on Applicant Section => Apply Section link for application form submission.

# Candidates must submit the details of documents like Certificate No., Issued date, Issuing authority and upload the documents/certificates (whenever asked for) in support of the claims made by them in the Application Form like, Date of Birth, Experience, Qualifications etc., or any other information, if pdf file in such a way that the file size does not exceed 2 MB and is legible when a printout taken. For that purpose, the applicant may scan the documents/certificates in 200 dpi grey scale.

After previewing the details filled in by the applicant he/she can either click “Submit” for final submission or click “Cancel” button for necessary corrections before final submission of the Application Form.
