Eligibility Criteria:
# PG Diploma/Degree in Journalism/Mass Media or Graduate with minimum two years journalistic experience to be desirable for candidates in difficult and border areas like North-Eastern States, Jammu & Kashmir, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman, Diu and Kutch.
# Should reside at the district headquarters or within a radius of 10 kms. From the district HQs/Municipal limit in the district for which he/she is being engaged.
# Age limit: 24 to 45 years (age as on the last day of advertisement).
Desirable:
# Knowledge of Computers & Word Processing.
# Possession of news gathering devices.
# Experience of coverage for electronic media.
