Rupantaran Foundation, an organization working on gender equity, child protection, livelihood promotion, and active citizenship, is looking for a Youth Program Facilitator to engage with youth in the project area of North 24 Parganas. The Field Facilitator will play a critical role in working directly with young people, conducting workshops, trainings, and sessions, while also managing documentation, reporting, and youth events.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular sessions, workshops, and trainings with youth in the educational institutions and rural areas on topics related to gender, child protection, and leadership development.
– Co-create session designs and training modules tailored to the needs and interests of the youth.
– Organize and manage youth events in the project area, encouraging active participation and engagement.
– Ensure proper documentation of activities and prepare reports to be submitted to the program management team.
– Monitor and assess youth participation and engagement, contributing to the overall monitoring and evaluation of the project.
– Collaborate with team members and support in the planning, organizing, and facilitation of activities.
– Be open to travelling within the project area as required by the role.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of a Graduate degree (preferably an MSW or equivalent in social work, development studies, or a related field).
– 1-2 years of experience working with youth in a similar role, preferably in community development or social projects.
Required Skills:
– Excellent communication skills.
– Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to engage youth and manage group dynamics effectively.
– A team player with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and co-create content.
– Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
– A passion for learning, with a growth mindset and openness to adapting new approaches.
– Understanding of youth engagement strategies, group dynamics, and community-led development.
CTC: Rs. 18000/- per month.
