CURE is the largest non-government organization committed to provide free treatment to children born with clubfoot in India. In India over 50,000 children are born with clubfoot every year.Working for CURE you will have the opportunity to transform the lives of children born with clubfoot and their families in India.Roles & Responsibilities :Management and Administration:Build strong relationship & coordination with the various government departments including Health, Social Justice, WCD (ICDS) and Education by regular communication and continuous follow up. Work closely with NHM/ RBSK program to get more children.Regularly Maintain & Establish relationship with the Medical Director of the project to inform him/her on project progress and to discuss with him challenges and opportunities that arise. This includes meeting and sharing progress reports and alignment of the program objectives that are predetermined. Maintain & Establish relationship with the Program coordinators and doctors at the clinic locations to determine their clinic progress and learn of any challenges they are facing.Regularly report & update the National Office about the project implementation progress and expansion programs. Use monthly reporting formats and actively engage in group mails &Whats App group conversation, etc.Organize regular administrative meetings with the Health department, State Government, Medical Director, RSBK Nodal officer and clinic counselors to discuss future directions for the project in your state and click the meeting photographs and update the same to the National Team.Record & share success stories and case studies monthly. Good photography is compulsory along with the story.Laisse regularly with NHM, RBSK and Health department and submit report on monthly basis.Prepare monthly and quarterly reports along with one case study from each clinic every month and submit it before the agreed time line.Collect the Nishchay app data from the respective coordinators and report to National office team. Make sure that all coordinators Nishchay app data should be updated within the agreed time line.At the time of Nishchay app Data discrepancies found then need to take appropriate action to ensure that the discrepancy issue resolved.As per the project requirement, if any challenges for the target number then it should be shared with National Team for suitable solutions.Maintain the master database of Asha’s, Anganwadi for the state.Counseling Parents & Role with DoctorsCounseling parents into in-depth understanding of the complete details of treatment and provide emotional/moral support.Act as mediator between Doctor and parents for smoothening the treatment procedure.Furnish accurate records of the children to the Doctors when required by them and vice versa.Plan awareness, parent support group meetings and resource mobilization on regular basis.Clinic Management and Maintenance of Medical RecordKeep a check of requirements (FAB stock and other materials) for smooth functioning of Clinic and convey to Director if there are any requirements proactively.Maintain medical records regularly and keep necessary Record Registers up to date & store the Medical Records safely.Maintain counsellor’s diary on every clinic day for tracking every child’s treatment.Refer the checklist for an ideal clinic and always ensure checking with the dashboard that the clinic is well equipped.Monitoring and ensuring that ICR data is updated regularly. Develop and maintain good working relationship with the respective stateTowards Other Clinic Site CounselorsBe in regular touch with other clinic site coordinators and guide them in their work whenever required. Help them complete essential activities regularly before the agreed time line.Communicate & share the issues and challenges faced by the Disability Program Coordinators to the Director and suggest Clinic visit or together plan Clinic visit.Collect weekly/monthly/timely reports from the Disability Program Coordinators and forward to the National Program Manager.FUND RAISING:Develop resource mobilization strategy in consultation with the Director.Identify funding opportunities and prepare proposals & necessary program documents.Develop and achieve local fund raising targets by organizing fund raising activities and events.Nurture old relationships and constantly expanding the current network of donors through regular communication and meetings. Cultivate potential supporters and create list of donors.Work closely with the program & accounts team to address funding requirements & funding utilization processes.Ensuring documentation of all procedures, donor details, reports etc.Develop and maintain good working relationship with the respective state governments.At the DEIC (Enrolling, Counseling, documentation, children with birth defects if children affects with developmental delays)Identification of children with disabilities and developmental delays in association with hospitals, WCD, Anganwadis and ASHA workers.Organize clinics in hospitals to identify children with birth defects and developmental delays and refer them for relevant medical treatment.Maintain and update of database of children.Organize/facilitate trainings of counselors. Grass root level workers, healthcare professionals as required.Ensure parents are fully informed about the treatment and progress of their child and that they have a good understanding of the treatment process.Ensure long-term community/home based rehabilitation of the affected children.Function as an advocate by raising local community awareness of disability and development delays.Facilitate distribution of assistive devices to identified children.Work closely with the Dist. RBSK team for referrals and participate actively in their various activities such as health camps and events.Organize a clinic parent support group.Qualifications &Skiils:Post Graduate in Social Work/ Sociology/Psychology or other related discipline.Should have at least 3 to 5 years of leadership experience working with non-profits and or like-minded organization in a similar leadership position.Active listener.Establishing a relationship of trust and respect with parents.Make the parent understand and convince that the clubfoot can be treated.Proven skills in information, communication, networking, advocacy and ability to work in mass media.Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with private sector.Computer skills including internet and various office applications.Fluent in English and Hindi/Local Language.Interested candidates can send your updated resume to jobsindia@clubfootindia.in along with the below attached application form.
