Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 39 Deputy General Manager, Assistant Manager & Junior Manager vacancies for Assam Power Generation Company Limited (APGCL).
APGCL Recruitment 2023 Details
1. Deputy General Manager (Audit)
No of Posts: 01 Post
Scale of Pay: Rs. 42,0001 to Rs. 1,16,0001, GP: Rs. 17,400.00
Educational Qualification: Must possess a degree from a recognized University and must be a Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant from a recognized lnstitution, He/She must possess post qualification experience in financial and accounting work of not less that 03 (Three) years and total 06 (Six) years in responsible position in Central/State Public Sector underlakings or in any large organization of repute and capable of holding independent charge of Accounts.
Age: Not less than 21 (Twenty-One) years and not more than 45 (Forty-Five) years as on 01/01/2023. ln respect of Deputy General Manager (Audit), the upper age limit is relaxed up-to 52 (Fifty Two) years for highly experienced candidates.
2. Assistant Manager
No of Posts: 08 Posts
- Assistant Manager (Electrical)= 06 Nos
- Assistant Manager (Human Resource)= 02 Nos.
Scale of Pay: Rs 37,300.00- 1,12,000.00, GP: Rs 14,200.00
Educational Qualification:
For the post of Assistant Manager (Electrical):
- Full-time Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)/Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering) should be from University/lnstitution approved by All lndia Council for Technical Education (AICIE) and the course duration should be of minimum 4 years after HSSLC or equivalent or 3 years after completion of full time Diploma course in Engineering from any Govt./Govt. recognized/AICTE approved Polytechnic/lnstitutron or {2 years (Base) + 2 Years (Diploma) + 2 Years (Engineering)i course from Govt./Govt, recognized/A;CTE approved lnstitution.
For the post of Assistant Manager (Human Resources) :
- 02 (Two) years full-time degree of Master in Business Administration (MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with specialization in (Human Resource Management/Personnel Management/ industrial Relations) from any lndian University/ lnstitution approved by AICTE/UGC)
Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 (Twenty-One) years of age and not more than 38 (Thirty-Eight) years of age as on 01/01/2023. The upper age relaxation is as per Govt. rule.
3. Junior Manager
No of posts: 30 Posts
- Junior Manager (Electrical) = 10 Nos,
- Junior Manager (Mechanical) = 10 Nos.
- Junior Manager (IT) = 05 Nos
- Junior Manager (instrumentation) = 05 Nos
Scale of Pay: Rs 25,000.00- 92,000.00, GP: Rs 12,100.00
Educational Qualification: For the post of Junior Manager, Full-time Diploma course in Engineering from any Govt./ Govt. recognized/ All lndia Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved Polytechnic/lnstitution and the course duration should be of minimum 3 (Three) years after HSLC or equivalent or {2 (Two) Years (Base) + 2 (Two) Years (Diploma)) course from Govt./ Govt. recognizedl AICTE approved lnstitution. Minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination of Diploma course in Engineering for the said post is required ln case of SC & ST candidates, minimum 50% marks is must in the qualifying examination of full time diploma course,
- For Junior Manager (Electrical): Full time Diploma in (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering).
- For Junior Manager (Mechanical): Full time 3(three) years diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- For Junior Manager (lT): Full time 3(three) years diploma in Computer Science & Engineering/information Technology/Computer Technology.
- For Junior Manager (instrumentation): Full time 3(three) years diploma in instrumentation Engineering.
Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 (Twenty-One) years of age and not more than 38 (Thirty-Eight) years of age as on 01/01/2023. The upper age relaxation is as per Govt. rule.
