Handique Girls’ College Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Project Assistant under the CURIE program for Women PG colleges funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India.

Essential qualification: A first-class (60% marks) B.Sc.degree with honours/major in Botany/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry/Physics/Zoology.
Desirable:
(a) Experience handling and maintaining sophisticated scientific instruments.
(b) Experience in the preparation of reagents/buffer solutions
(c) Experience working in a research laboratory (government or private) supported by documentary evidence.
Age limit: Not exceeding 25 years as of the last date of application.
Fellowship : INR 22,000.00 per month (consolidated) will be provided per the norms of the
DST, Govt. of India.
