| URGENT VACANCY Organization : Child in Need Institute (CINI) Child in Need Institute (CINI), a leading national level professionally managed NGO in India with 46 years track record since 1974. Urgently Required: MEL & Research Manager Project brief: CINI has received a grant from Khorakiwala Family Trust for a span of two years ranging from 2022 -2024 (expandable) for strengthening health and nutrition services for women and children in urban slums of Kolkata. The project will focus on strengthening urban slum population as well as service delivery systems in home based newborn care and pregnancy care for ensuring safe motherhood and child survival-aiming at reducing maternal and infant mortality. The project will be implemented in close coordination with Dept. of Health & Family Welfare and Kolkata Municipal Corporation for better ownership and sustainability. Post: Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning & Research Manager Stationed at: CINI Head Office CTC : Rs. 75,000/- PM Qualification: Post graduate degree/ higher qualifications (Demography/economics/ Public health/ Social sciences) with specialized qualification of quantitative research. 4-6 years’ experience in designing and conducting public health research/large scale data handling. Experience in related field preferable (Maternal & Child Health). General Criteria: Age limit 26 – 40 yrs, Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Power point /SPSS/starta/other statistical packages/online data collection and analysis tools. Job Responsibilities : Activities to be performed: 1. Designing of project logframe including monitoring and reporting indicators of health based projects 2. Developing project monitoring and reporting tools at different levels to measure project progress 3. Monitoring the core and performance indicators of the project on regular basis 4. Frame research designs, draw sampling methodologies, data collection and analysis process for conducting baseline, end line or midterm reviews 5. Develop quantitative and qualitative reports by analyzing data using different statistical methods 6. Coordinate with Project staff for ensuring appropriate and effective MIS data flow 7. Documentation of the project, writing donor reports, case studies, process documentation, and documenting good practices from the field 8. Undertake regular field visits to assess the systems and verify data as well as support field staffs in project implementation 9.
